About the Workshop

It’s not just a course — it’s a ritual, a reset, a healing space

The Art of Slowing Down: Calligraphy for a Stress-Free Mind is a gentle, 4-week journey into mindful brush lettering — designed to help you pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

This is not just a creative class. It’s a quiet space carved out of your busy day, where every letter becomes a reminder to soften, to slow down, and to return to what really matters.

You don’t need to be “good at art.” You don’t need experience. You just need a willingness to show up — imperfectly, fully, and at your own pace.

Whether you're seeking calm, creative nourishment, or a ritual to hold onto during stressful days, this workshop invites you to explore writing as a way of healing.

If you felt even a moment of peace during the free webinar, this is your invitation to go deeper.

Meet Your Guide – Purvi

Hi, I’m Purvi — a calligrapher, creative facilitator, and the founder of Schriftgeist, a space where lettering becomes a form of emotional rest.

I didn’t come to calligraphy through design or perfection. I came to it during a time of stress and disconnection — when everything around me felt too fast, too loud, and too much. Picking up a brush pen was never about making something “pretty.” It was about slowing down enough to breathe between the letters.

Over time, I discovered that this simple act of writing — with intention, with softness — could be deeply healing. It became my ritual, my reset, my quiet way of reconnecting with myself.

Through The Art of Slowing Down, I now guide others through that same process — using creativity not as performance, but as a pathway to peace.

Whether you’re brand new to calligraphy or just craving space to exhale, this journey is for you.

“This workshop felt like a breath of fresh air.”
I joined on a whim and ended up building a ritual that I now genuinely look forward to. It wasn’t just about calligraphy — it was about feeling present, soft, and a little more human.

- Clarice Turner

“I didn’t know how much I needed this.”
Slowing down feels impossible most days. But with Purvi’s guidance, I found a quiet corner inside myself — and I can return to it now, pen in hand.

- Brian Moten

“Gentle, grounding, and genuinely healing.”
This was unlike anything I’ve taken before. No pressure to be perfect, no rush — just calm guidance, soothing prompts, and space to reconnect.

- Joyce Gould

“The way this course blends creativity with self-care is beautiful.”
I came for the lettering and stayed for the peace. Each week felt like a small emotional reset. The affirmations in Week 3 made me cry — in the best way.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any experience in calligraphy to join?

Not at all. This workshop is designed for complete beginners as well as those looking to reconnect with their creativity. No artistic experience is needed — just an open heart and a pen.

What materials do I need?

You’ll need a brush pen and paper. I’ll share a short list of recommended tools in the welcome email, but any basic brush pen will work beautifully.

Is the workshop live or pre-recorded?

The workshop is live — we’ll gather once a week over Zoom in a gentle, supportive space. Sessions are recorded, so if you miss one, you’ll receive the replay.

Can I join if I’m outside Europe?

Absolutely. The workshop is open worldwide. Times are listed in UTC, and replays are available for all sessions.

What if I can’t attend all the live sessions?

No problem. Every session will be recorded and shared privately with all participants. You can watch the replays anytime that suits your schedule.

How much time should I set aside each week?

Each live session is around 60- 90 minutes. If you want to go deeper with the prompts and lettering practices, you’re welcome to set aside more time — but the course is designed to feel spacious and doable.

Will there be a space to ask questions or share?

Yes! Each session includes optional sharing time. You’re also welcome to email me privately or connect via a quiet community space if you’d like (details shared after signup).

What’s your refund policy?

Due to the live and limited nature of this experience, all sales are final. That said, if something unexpected comes up, just reach out — I’ll always do my best to support you.
